Women Leaders in Cybersecurity: Emerging Technologies
The conference takes an interdisciplinary approach to exploring some of the many cybersecurity challenges posed by today’s emerging technologies.
Chief Scientist Claudia Perlich will join “Cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence” with panelists Shawnna Hoffman, Global Cognitive Legal Co-Leader, IBM Watson and Periwinkle Doerfler, PhD Candidate, NYU Tandon.
This panel, moderated by Micaela McMurrough, Special Counsel, Covington & Burling, will explore cutting-edge issues, including the ethical and legal dilemmas involved in marketing and using AI/machine learning technologies, how machine learning is enhancing our ability to detect cyber threats, and some unique cybersecurity challenges posed by AI technologies.
The event is hosted by NYU’s Center for Cybersecurity, a collaboration between the School of Law and the School of Engineering.
