Great session with NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, on the future of technology in the league. Silver sees potential with Virtual Reality but it’s a ways out. Streaming has changed the way people (fans) will forever interact with their “perishable” content, globally.
We attended a Google Fiber event and met the newest addition, Google vBot, a friendly robot who responds to your facial expressions in real-time.
We’ve seen a heavy focus on entertainment specific media – for example Popshorts, a company matching social influencers with brands for activations. There were also panels specifically focusing on ‘star’ marketing.
