CHALLENGE

In the Spring of 2018, a streaming media brand shifted focus from subscribers to high value subscribers and tapped Dstillery to find those users who will stay for at least three billing cycles.

APPROACH

By observing and analyzing the behaviors of subscribers who signed up for a streaming device bundle package and prepaid for two months, Dstillery created “High Value” subscriber Act-alike Audiences to find users similar to the streaming media brand’s most valuable customers.

Dstillery optimized towards high value conversions and as a result drove 20% more high value subscribers at a cost per subscriber (CPS) 30% below their goal.
